Animation is often underestimated and overlooked as a form of high art and relegated to a children's medium. However, animation presents limitless creative possibilities to convey complex narratives.
Well written mate! I’m shocked that people understate animation! Of the top 6 films I have rewatched the most, 4 are animations: Tangled, How to train a dragon, Spider-Man & Megamind. The richness of the dialogue & depth of the stories and how inspirational these films are…not to mention I’m a Phineas & Ferb fanatic!
I think the problem is that many people view animation as a genre and not as a medium. Whether you love action or drama or romance you can find animated shows in that genre.
I agree with all 4 shows on your list. How to train a dragon and Kung Fu Panda are really a masterclass in film making by Dreamworks.
